Community report
- HEPAs running permanently in waiting and consulting areas
- Optician wears FFP3 (note report specified a particular optician so worth checking if this is the same with all)
- Customers made to feel welcome to mask
Please note the more recent review added below – the review and the original community information are not necessarily incompatible but the review could indicate that the culture has changed. A listing on Safe Inside does NOT mean somewhere is covid safe – hardly anywhere is – it just means they have responded positively to being asked if they will mask properly for an appointment, although in this case did also indicate HEPAs running. It is not unusual for someone taking a call being asked ‘what covid mitigations do you have in place’ to respond negatively, this doesn’t necessarily mean that ‘I’m immune compromised, would it be possible for the optician seeing me to wear a FFP3?’ will get the same reaction. We are leaving the listing in place for now so people can check and decide, obviously if our only input was the review this wouldn’t get near the site.
