I work online (Zoom or other secure video platform) and on the telephone, and have undertaken specialist training to enable me to work in these ways.
This way of working makes counselling more accessible, as we are not limited by our geographical location or a need to travel to & from sessions, and means that those who are unable to attend face to face sessions can access therapy.
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on people’s lives, both physically and emotionally. Many people have experienced loss, grief, financial hardship, and social isolation.
You can feel secure that I don’t find continuing precautions against the risk of infection irrational. With everything that has happened during the pandemic, increased anxiety and stress are reasonable responses, and I will take you and the pandemic seriously.
